Government of Republic of Srpska adopted yesterday information on conducting a public call for the selection of beneficiaries incentives to support business incubators and business zones in the Serbian Republic of Srpska, which was announced by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining on December 13th.

14 municipalities and cities applied on the public call, including Kozarska Dubica municipality, of which two are municipalities seeking incentives for business incubators, while 12 municipalities required impetus to the business zones, ministry announced.

The conditions for the business encouragement of total 13 applications completed the 12 municipalities, which are Kozarska Dubica, Gradiska, Bijeljina, Mrkonjic Grad, Vlasenica, Istocno Sarajevo, Laktasi, Prijedor, Petrovo, Srbac, Samac and Novi Grad. "In order to support business incubators and zones a portion of the grant for the implementation of the Strategy for development of small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurship and the establishment of business zones is provided in an amount of 147.000 KM", said the Minister Zeljko Kovacevic. These funds are earmarked for renovation or repair of premises in business incubators, creation of business zones preinvest studies, project documentation for construction of infrastructure in a business zone or reimbursement of funds for the completed project documentation for building infrastructures that are already paid. "The amount of funds for business incubators were 6.000 and 10.000 marks, and incentives for business zones were between 5.000 and 14.000 KM", said Kovacevic.
